Commissions

You landed on this page because you want something specially made just for you. Whether it’s bringing a new or existing character to life, helping you create your brand and merch, or designing a tattoo, I’m your guy! Because every commission is unique, prices tend to vary. Below you’ll find different categories of what I offer, and if you give them a click, you can see more details and examples. Don’t forget to read my TOS and The Process.

Terms Of service

  1. The works of Starjuice Creations (sketches, drafts, finished work whether commissioned or not) are NOT to be used in the production or teaching of AI art.

  2. If using or sharing art publicly, please credit my work. In addition, please do not share any progress pictures unless specific permission has been given.

  3. Unless you pay for the commercial license to sell my art, you are not allowed to use art commissioned from Starjuice Creations in the name of profit.

  4. My art is not to be used for hate or violence towards any group or individual.

  5. If you are commissioning any NSFW art, you will be required to verify proof of age. Much like in real life, I can say no to any requests that I’m not comfortable with.

  6. Please make complaints, critiques, or concerns known DURING the commission process rather than after. I like to make my clients happy, and that is much easier to do if I know when they’re unhappy.

  7. Sometimes, life happens and I forget things. If you know you have a deadline, or you figure out a deadline along the commission process, please make it known. You are encouraged to reach out at any time to check on progress or ask questions.

  8. If at some point you wish to cancel your commission, you may be given a partial refund (90% after the sketch is approved, 50% after linework is approved. After I’ve begun coloring, You may only receive up to 20% refund at my discretion). If Starjuice Creations cancels the commission, you will get a full refund.

These are the rules, and if they aren’t followed, I may have to put you on my Do Not Work With list. Right now that list is empty, let’s keep it that way!

The Process

Here’s how my commissions work! While I can be flexible, I like to maintain this sort of procedure.

Consultation

We start off by talking about what you want. I will ask as many questions as I feel necessary to get a solid idea. With the initial Qs I encourage you to be as descriptive as you can with what you know you want, then we'll bounce off from there! I may give my artistic opinion about certain things, but this is art for you so if you really want something a certain way, I will do it(unless there is a restriction like tattoo size/detail level)

Sketch

I will send a very rough sketch or two to give you an idea of composition. If it's good to go, I will create a more detailed sketch with any changes you may have requested, and once it is approved, I will take full payment. (For first time/budget flex commissioners I am willing to do half payment before starting a sketch, and the rest upon completion before receipt) Any design related sketches that are not selected for use by client may be used for other works

Progress

I will send screenshots of progress as I feel necessary, usually sketch, linework, flat color, rendering. I may send more if I'm checking in with specific details. You may make changes for free up to finished linework. Once linework has been approved, all non coloring related changes will have a small fee attached (unless it is my own error. I can admit I sometimes draw a shitty hand). Turnaround time is roughly 48 hours to 10 days after sketch approval, depending on communication, changes, and the business of life

Completion

After rendering is approved, I send you the finished art via email. If you need multiple versions (say a plain linework version and a full color version) please let me know in advance. If your commission is a tattoo, I will attach a permission slip to show your artist. They may make changes to my art as needed in order to best apply to skin.

I accept Venmo, PayPal, and Cashapp. Venmo and PayPal are preferred
I charge a rough hourly rate. An estimate is given based on my guess for how long a piece will take once the consultation is finished
